Fundraising Goal

The challenge with any fundraiser is defining what you need to support your unit’s annual programs and events. Before you order any popcorn, take a look at your total annual spending and divide by the number of scouts in your unit.

Within Pack 9 of Mt. Pleasant, SC we typically spend about $350 per scout with parents covering 50% of the costs. This includes two camping trips (no cost to scouts), two travel events (50% paid by scouts), annual “Blue and Gold” banquet (no cost to scouts), annual dues (50% paid by scouts) and patches/awards. We also provide scholarships to families in need. Our goal is to make scouting affordable.

We have 60 scouts which means we need to raise about $10,500 (or 50% of an annual $21,000 budget).

Tip: Collecting Donations means ordering less popcorn!
